About Us
KUD Behar, based in Seattle and formed in 2008, is a folklore group of Bosnian and Herzegovinian youth dedicated to preserving and sharing our rich cultural heritage through music, dance, and community events. Fun fact; some of the original members’ children now dance in today’s group, continuing the tradition across generations. We perform throughout the Pacific Northwest and travel across the U.S. to connect with other folklore groups, striving to keep Bosnian and Herzegovinian traditions alive for years to come.

At KUD Behar Seattle, our mission is to preserve, celebrate, and share the rich traditions of Bosnian folklore through music, dance, and community engagement. We aim to connect people of all ages to our heritage, inspire pride in our culture, and bring the joy of Bosnian folk arts to audiences across the Pacific Northwest.
